Pain Is My Art...I Work In Blood

Perfect red lines
lie there on my body
as if they belong.
They cry blood
that stains my skin.
Red and sticky,
it oozes down my legs
making a trail to my ankles.
The air makes it sting
but the pain feels so good.
It looks like an accident
but believe me
it's not

Take the razor blade
slighty press it against the skin and...
-SLICE-
Now watch the blood rise to the surface of the insicion
Carefully wipe away the blood and watch it reappear
Pass your fingers over the cuts
Almost like braile
It's poetry
without writing
It's love
and hatred
and dreams that will never come true
A work of art
that's never quite understood

Flying Faith

I'll spread my wings
And I'll try to fly
I know what I am
Don't need to know why

I'll sleep on the clouds
And fall with the rain
I know I'll get hurt
But I'll be to blame

I'm not gonna think
Just go on and go
Even if I fail
I'll see the rainbow

Not looking for gold
Nor a guy in a green suit
Give me my wings
For you I will root

Just give me a chance
Cuz I know I can
If you give me a chance
I'll be your fan

You don't believe me
So I'll prove it to you

At what I can do

Unhook this leash

Tears

Are like little emotional raindrops

They speak your mind without making a sound

The say words only you can hear

The world may see them

Layin there upon your face

But only you know their true meaning

It was a blank page
Now covered in tears, it reads
More than any book

Little drops of rain

Fall from the mid-night sky

To land where they please

My body bruises

But the pain can not compare

To my broken heart

The beautiful bird

Represents the harmony

Of Mother Nature

I can't figure out

Who I am suppossed to be

Can't I just be me?

I can cause the pain

but no matter what I do

I can't prevent it
