I will not acknowledge the difference
For I do not know
Who are you?
What am I?
Are we the same?
The corners of your mouth,
They point up,
While mine slide down,
Acting as pools to catch the drops of rain
Falling from my eyes.
Your eyes glisten
From laughter,
While mine stay shut.
Puffy and red.
But what does it mean?
Aren’t we all the same?
Life is not a mirror.
What you see
Is not always what you get.
